Repo! The Genetic Opera - First Look

Some footage from Repo! was premiered at the Scream Awards last night and has now, as was inevitable, made its way online. Unfortunately, it's shaky-cam style; even more unfortunately, it looks like dull, cliched stuff with predictable lyrics and, in the song here showcased, a flat melody. The necessary imagination seems almost entirely absent.

A real shame because this was one of the most intriguing casts in a very long time and a full-on horror musical is definitely a novelty, if nothing more.

Bell In Repo: Gone But Not Forgotten

[EDIT: Turns out that Mr. Tobin Bell has been approached to sing in Repo, not Ms. Kristen Bell. Ah well. You win some, you lose some... but the Dread Central story is still MIA. Any ideas why? Did anybody see it?]

A story at Dread Central appears to have disappeared. At time of writing, the page is absent, and no headline is present on the front page but the RSS feed contains the story 'Bell Sings For Repo'.

I'm assuming Kristen Bell has signed to appear in Repo: The Genetic Opera but, for some reason, Dread Central have been made to retract their story.

Either that or they were hoaxed and have scampered away with their tale between their legs. Time will tell.
